The blue door
Doors coated in blue leather are set in a cornfield. The doors are stolen from the offices of local administration of a bankrupt company that was engaged in the production of agricultural products and seedlings. Privatization and restructuring of the company is managed by the European Bank for reconstruction of and development (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - EBRD). The company, among others things, was producing and selling seeds of corn. This project is an attempt to critique the ideology of violent privatization of social goods that is offered as the sole and unquestionable model of future economic development.
