This is a monument to the recently deceased painter Romano Baričević. The monument was placed on the same gallery where the Romano had his first and also his last solo exhibition. The monument consists of a wooden flagpole whose top is coated with bitumen and black ceramic dish also filled with bitumen in front of the gallery. Plate is located directly below the flagpole and its optical properties of bitumen functions as a black mirror and communicate with passersby. Romano, in his "black" painting phase used bitumen as a painting material.
