Shadows, Gallery ULUPUH
The exhibition deals with material and immaterial aspects of memory. To the original shadow of the objects exhibited in the gallery, another shadows are added, and they by the time take over the space of the gallery. These other shadows are drawn on the floor and walls acts as our memory, which is retroactive expanding and occupies our inner space following its irrational logic..
Objects that have cast a shadow were glass cubes in which there were materials that produce shadows or are a its direct product: moss, molten lead which by oxidation darkens and leaves its trace on the surface of paper, the projector which is turned off with slides of the artworks which contains shadows in their compositions...
